Beautiful little town.
Beautiful little town. Very pretty with lots of history and things to see. Once you're in the town its easy to walk around. I loved many of the recommended places including the Queens walk, which I think many people miss.
Lots of nice places to eat too. The people were very friendly.
The countryside around, including the Pepper Mountains are lovely too.
Nearby Krzyżtopór Castle is one of the most interesting castle ruins I can remember visiting.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was great, and the air-conditioning was a much-appreciated bonus. The staff were diligent and friendly, always ready to provide perfect information about the area. The food was lovely, with a wide variety of delicious options. There was plenty of parking available, and the hotel's location was ideal, just a 15-minute walk to the charming old town. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that I highly recommend!
We were in a family room that was very big and had a huge bathroom with a shower cabin and a tub. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The check in service was the most pleasant we had i a long time. The ladies were helpful and lovely. The hotel is located by the castle so very close. The restaurant is excellent. The food is fresh and champions local produce. Breakfast was very nice. Scrambled eggs were the best I ever had i a hotel. Would come back.
+ location: quiet and close to a park, about 5 minutes from the Old Town area.
+ very spacious and comfortable - big table in the kitchen plus a comfortable bedroom with a sofa.
+ two comfortable beds
+ moskito nets in the windows - it's great during the summer when you want to cool down at night
+ interesting decor - someone really put a lot of thought into the design.
The staff was absolutely marvellous: open, helpful, good-humoured. There was no wish that couldn't be fulfilled, like extra towel or extra cup in the room. The location was great: right in the centre of the Old Town. The room was spacious with sofa and wardrobe, also the bathroom was spacious. We could leave the luggage after the check-out in the reception.
Excellent location, one minute walk from the Opatowska gate and city center. Most of the attractions are on walking distance.
They had good parking space (free parking till 1 pm on check out day). I actually had opted it because of location and parking. In these aspects it's a good deal
The owner and the staff, their home made food is delicious, the room was spacious and well appointed, everything worked. There is parking. Great breakfast - a buffet, and attached restaurant make it easy at the meal time.
This was my second time at the Tawerna Sandomierz, and I will return
The room was very large. It was just 2 minutes walk to enter the old city of beautiful Sandomierz. Parking was easy on the nearby street, and free at the weekend. The breakfast was served in the restaurant downstairs and was fabulous: the food , the choices and the service.
I did like how clean it is and that it is in good location not far from old town so you can go there by foot. There is space for car it is good advantage. You can find there Iron, dryer , coffee machine, dishes and small fridge so it’s very good .
Great hotel to stay in the historic city of Sandomierz. Cozy, comfortable place. A wonderful restaurant with a wine cellar of interesting wines from local vineyards. The hotel has an interesting art gallery where you can buy paintings.
